27th-10th June/July Weekly News Roundup

This Weekly News Roundup edition is going to span the last 2 weeks because I… um… forgot. But that’s okay because we’re on back on track and the news doesn’t stop! Read on!

In games news:

  • On June 30th, Uncharted‘s Nolan North spoke at a panel and made an “unconfirmed conformation” that Naughty Dog is making a The Last of Us 2. However, Troy Baker, who voices Joel from The Last of Us has said he know’s nothing about it. Watch North’s slip-up here.

  • On July 1st, Fallout 4 preorders went live on the digital Xbox One store with instructions on how you could get your hands on Fallout 3 which is bundled with the new release. Read up on the instructions here.

  • On July 4th, TellTale Games showed off their newest game series at Minecon in London: Minecraft: Story Mode. It seems to have been met with mixed feelings. Watch the trailer here.

On July 7th, it was announced that a Minecraft beta is coming to Windows 10 at its release and will be free for existing players. Read more about it here.

  • On July 8th, it was announced that Journey is coming to PS4 on the 21st of July and it will be absolutely free for previous buyers. Read more about it here.
