In gaming news:

  • On July 17th (close enough), Bethesda uploaded a couple of new gameplay videos for Fallout 4 including exploration and combat. Watch them here.

  • On July 19th, the Kickstarter for Shenmue 3 finished with just over $6.3 million USD (!) in funding, becoming the highest-funded video game in Kickstarter history. We all knew it would happen though, didn’t we? Read more on it here.

  • On July 23rd, Blizzard announced a brand new Hearthstone expansion called “The Grand Tournament”, a nod to the Argent Tournament in the Lich King days of World of Warcraft. Read up on this new expansion here.

  • Again on July 23rd, the PS4 announcement date from Rise of the Tomb Raider was announced… and it’s not pretty; a whole year after the Xbox One release. Check it out here.

  • Also on July 23rd, the release date for Life is Strange episode 4 has been confirmed for the 28th of July. Read more on it here.

In industry announcements:

  • On July 24th, IGN released an article stating that although Kojima and Del Toro aren’t working on Silent Hills anymore, they still plan on working together on new projects. Read the whole thing here
